Thrilled to Have Participated in PowerLec Conference 2025
Sometime this year, I participated in the PowerLec Conference 2025, an incredible experience with minds across Africa, the Middle East and beyond who came to share ideas, innovations and strategies shaping the future of energy and water sustainability.
“Networking is a sharing process. Until you understand that, you won’t have much of a network.”
— Earl G. Graves, Sr.
As a stakeholder in the electricity sector, I found conversations around grid modernisation, digital transformation, and regional energy diversification and collaboration interesting. To see what the REA (Rural Electrification Agency) is doing and several other players building on decentralised power for communities and cluster industries. I eagerly look forward to new technology and processes to make systems better, like here.
One big takeaway for me was the emphasis on data-driven decisions, sustainability and more inclusive governance for decentralised grids, especially for industry segments far from urban grid networks.
Conclusion
It was a beautiful experience, listening to speakers about their ideas and interacting with notable players across various utility segments. Kudos!!!
